How did you get the name, Bruce Wayne?

When I first born, I had a black strip of fur that went around my belly, so my former home called me "Bruce Lee".  Funny enough when my Little Lady (aka my human mom) was looking for a puppy, she had decided that she wanted to give her dog a superhero name, but wanted one that wasn't uber obvious, so she decided to pick their "civilian/alter ego name".  She's a huge Batman fan and felt like "Bruce Wayne" was the most recognizable with all generations. Once she saw and knew that my name was currently "Bruce Lee", she knew "Bruce Wayne" was definitely the right name!

How long have you been on instagram?

I've been on Instagram for 11 months now.  We started in mid-January, 2015.

Tell us about your followers. What are they like? Where are they from?

We are fortunate enough to have dog friends from all over the world.  Most of our followers are fellow do

g accounts, however, there are also some cat/small animal accounts.  In addition, we have human followers, which range from fellow dog lovers to our ninja warrior friends.

Do humans ever recognize you when you’re “offline” and in the streets?

We haven't been recognized on the streets from our IG account yet, but we are often stopped to because of my cuteness.  Everyone wants to pet me :-) Unfortunately, there aren't many dog accounts that reside around me, but we are always looking for some.

What’s the secret to your flawless instagram pictures?

We are always on the search to have "flawless" Instagram pictures.  We have defiantly learned a few tricks along the way and our timeline shows that we are constantly looking to improve.  When we use props, we try not to have to many conflicting colors or themes.  Less is often more, especially with being a small dog, it is easy to get lost in the picture.  We have also learned that it's actually better to take pictures on shady days, as opposed to bright, sunny days. Also, find your dog's trigger words.  For example, to get my big ears to go up, the Little Lady will ask me "are you hungry" or say the word "doggie" which peaks my interest and allows her to capture me at my cutest moments.

When you’re not posing for the camera, what else do you like to do?

I love to nap! That's my number one goal is to nap as much as I can in one day! ;-)  I also enjoy going on long walks (as long as it's warm outside, I'm a Chi after all).

Do you have an insta-crush?

I'm Bruce Wayne, I have many, many "insta-crushes"! Some of my favorites are "Peebles" of @flintstonepups; "Panda" of @cheekychis; and "Ariel" of @princess_ariel06 (are you seeing a theme here?!)  There are many more that I could probably name.

What does the future hold for Bruce Wayne?

With any hopes, we can turn our Instafame into good.  We have hopes of starting our own blog/website, but we truly like helping to give back to dogs that aren't as fortunate.  It is important for us to raise awareness of charity fundraisers and help in any way we can.

Lastly, what advice or words of doggie wisdom would you offer to our human readers?  Love your pups and kiss them goodnight every night! Also, know your dog.  Some dogs won't like to model or pose with products with like I do, but they can shine in other ways.  I'll hold my paw on any object, but I will not hold items in my tiny mouth for anything, so learn what your dog is good at and work with what talents they like to show off. Never push your dog to be something they are not. Cute dogs are always in demand!
